Educational Programs at the Hermitage
The Hermitage Museum offers a number of exciting and innovative educational programs designed for children of all ages throughout the school year. Every year, over 2,500 students visit the Hermitage through our educational programs. All our programs engage children with the past, exploring a variety of historical themes and focuses, using hands on activities and encouraging student based inquiry, understanding, and innovation.
We offer a number of School Programs, which are available Mondays-Fridays for students in Pre-K and Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High School, on a variety of subjects that meet NJCCC Standards. More information about our school programs can be found here.
Our Scout Programs are after-school programs for Girl Scouts (Daisies to Juniors) and Cub Scouts (Tigers to Webeloes II). Our programs cover requirements for many badges. More details about our Scout Programs can be found here.
We also offer a Sponsored Visit Program which serves school and scout groups from underserved districts. More information about our Sponsored Visit Program can be found here.
